IMPORTANT! If you are planning to graduate in Fall 2024, please plan to take HNRS 461 in either WN24 or SP24!!! We do not offer HNRS 461 in Fall.
Do you know what you will do for your Track Experience?
If you have secured what you will do for your Honors Track Experience remember you need to receive approval from the Honors program before you begin. To receive approval complete the Form in Module 4.4 of the Student Handbook.
Honors Progress Reports COMING SOON!
We are working to upload everyone's Honors Requirement Progress Reports to your OneDrive. We will provide more information on where to find and read the report in an email in the next couple weeks so stay tuned.
Add Community Service to your Cal Poly Transcript!
Get credit for your community service participation put on your University Transcript! To get credit, you must complete a minimum of 150 hours over the course of your time at Cal Poly. Hours completed over the summer or other academic breaks still count towards these hours, as long as you get them signed off by as volunteer supervisor or Cal Poly faculty member.
The Cal Poly Honors Program wants to make this process as simple as possible for all of its students. The program will keep track of and sign off on all of your hours; just complete this attendance form when you volunteer. We also coordinate exciting volunteer events for Honors students throughout the year. See the list of our latest opportunities here!

Summer Internship Opportunities
The Marine Physical Laboratory (MPL) at world-renowned Scripps Institution of Oceanography at the University of California San Diego is currently seeking inquisitive, motivated undergraduates with exceptional aptitude for quantitative science and technology to apply for the 2024 MPL Summer Internship Program.
The MPL Summer Internship program is a paid, ten-week research program where students complete their own individual research project under the mentorship of some of the most notable scientists in the world. In addition to their research, students will attend weekly seminars, participate in hands-on activities, and more. Interns receive a $16.85/hour salary and a $6,000 taxable stipend to offset costs of housing, meals, transportation, etc.
