Seeking Honors Peer Advisors!

The Honors Program is seeking students to be Peer Advisors. This is a commitment involving 3 hours per week starting November 16th through end of Spring semester. Responsibilities include being available in the Honors Commons and zoom for Drop-In advising hours 3 hours per week. In addition, Peer Advisors will help with our Honors registration events during the year. To be a Peer Advisor you must have been in the Honors program for at least 1 year. You will receive 1 unit of Honors Elective for service to the community.

If interested complete the Honors Peer Advisor Application by November 2nd!

We Need Learning Assistants for HNRS 2261!!!

We are seeking Learning Assistant for HNRS 2261. Learning assistants must be 3rd or 4th years.

There will be 2 sections of HNRS 2261 in Spring27: Mondays and Wednesdays either 9:00am to 10:20am or 4:30pm to 5:50pm. Therefore, if you are interested in serving as a Learning Assistant you will need to be available for one of these times on MW.

Students completing their learning assistant assignment will receive 2 units of Honors Electives.

As part of this experience you will develop skills on how to lead and teach in a college classroom. This is a great entry to put on your resume to show that you not only have teaching experience but leadership experience. You'll have the opportunity to work with a dedicated group of other learning assistants and faculty.

Honors Seminars (HNRS 2299s) are unique on campus and only open to Honors students. Take advantage of this opportunity and fit one into your Spring schedule! we have lined up for Spring 2027.

Attention 2nd Years!!

Remember that if you are a 2nd year (i.e. sophomore) you must take HNRS 2261 this academic year! If you are in it right now, great. If not, plan to register for it this Spring 27.
