There is still space in a few of the Honors Seminars. If you are interested in enrolling in any of the following seminars in Spring please email Dr. J

HNRS 299-04 R: 10:10-11:00am; A Tour of Organic Chemistry Around Us

HNRS 299-05 R: 5:10pm-6:00pm; Leadership without the Title (This seminar can be used to substitute for HNRS 261)

HNRS 299-06 T: 3:10pm-4:00pm; Investigating the Transatlantic Slave Trade through Original Documents

We have updated the Tentative Course Offerings link to reflect which Honors courses will be able to offer next year. We will update the Honors Seminars that will be offered in Fall soon!

NEW! The Jump Rope Club

This new club (started by an Honors student!) brings the relatively unknown sport of jump rope to Cal Poly. The club plans to perform around campus at various events, and are open to everyone, no previous experience required. If you like being active, doing gymnastics, and being creative, come try it out! If you'd like to know more about the club, check out !

Have you completed a Co-Curricular Experience?

To learn more about how to satisfy the Honors Co-Curricular Experience click on the Co-Curricular Experiences link under Current Students on our website.

If you have completed a Co-curricular experience (i.e. Leadership or Teaching/mentoring) and are ready to take HNRC 200-02, HNRC 200-03, email for permission numbers.

We will post new opportunities that you can consider for fulfilling these requirements as they come up.




Looking for Honors advising?

Find out more about Peer Advising on the honors website. Also our Honors Ambassadors are available as a resource to all Honors students to share about their experiences in Honors (e.g., balancing Honors & major requirements, requirements of the Honors program) and as Cal Poly students more generally.

If you have an event that you want to share with our Honors Community, please complete the form (see link below). Announcements received by Sunday 11:59pm will be included in the Weekly Update posted on Monday.
