Honors Progress Reports COMING SOON!

The Honors Program is working with Cal Poly's Institutional Research (the data people) to generate a progress report on where you stand on completing the Honor's requirements. We hope to email these to everyone by the end of the month. In the meantime, if you have questions about your progress you can meet with Dr. J during her office hours OR meet with a Peer Advisor.

Winter Quarter Peer Advising if Now Available!

Starting This Week, peer advisors are available to provide drop-in Advising in the Honors Commons during the days and times listed below. You can also reach out to any of the Peer Advisors directly to set up a Zoom advising session.

The Honors Commons (Library, room 510) is open for business! We ask that you comply with Cal Poly's new COVID protocol when entering the space where we are all working together. As a reminder, please do not come to campus with Covid-related symptoms. Seats Available in Honors Seminars (HNRS 299s)

Several of our 1-unit HNRS 299 seminars still have seats available if you are looking to fulfill you honors elective requirements OR just want to take a really cool class!

Last day to register without a late fee is Wednesday January 12th!

The 2022 CSU Research Competition is now open!

The CSU Student Research Competition is held each spring to promote excellence in undergraduate and graduate scholarly research and creative activity by recognizing outstanding student accomplishments across the 23 CSU campuses.

The competition is open to all disciplines and to current undergraduate and graduate students and 2021 alums. Cash prizes are awarded.

Submissions are due T 1/18/22 at 11:59pm CA time.

Help out an Honor's Student Senior Project!

Sarah Kamp (Jr. Public Health) is looking for students to attend a a 50-minute workshop on the topic of health literacy. To RSVP see the QR Code on the Health Literacy flyer.

Get Involved in LLEAP, the Robotic Exoskeleton Project

From Honors Student,  Laura McGann (4th year Computer Science major) 

Are you ready to apply what classes have taught you and learn even more industry-standard skills to tackle a complex, real-world, engineering project? We need you! We are building a lower-limb, robotic exoskeleton for a local community member, and we are looking for new members of all experience levels to work on prototyping, controls, software architecture, simulation, sensing, and more. Check out our flyer for more details, and if any of this sounds interesting, come to our weekly Thursday meetings @6pm (starting January 6th) in the TECHE Lab (previously QL+ Lab) in Engineering IV.
