You don't have to be a photographer to submit! Winning photos will receive gift certificates to the CP Bookstore and will have their photo featured in our Honors Spring Newsletter! Deadline to submit is May 2nd!
Do you have priority registration for Fall 2025?
Cal Poly provides Special Exception Registration Status (i.e. Priority Registration) to first- and second-year students who are members in good standing in the Honors Program. Students with Special Exception status may register first according to Cal Poly's registration appointment schedule. See module 2.12 of the Canvas Honors Handbook to learn more about the requirements to be in good standing to receive Special Exception status. If you do not meet the requirements you will not have special exception status for Spring!
NOTE: If you are a 2nd year student you will NOT have Special Exception for Fall. Your last eligibility was for Spring 2025. Unfortunately the Registrar won't allow beyond 2nd year :(
First round registration for students with Special Exception starts if May 19th! NOTE! There is no Special Exception registration for summer classes!

We have updated the Tentative Course Offerings link to reflect which Honors courses will be able to offer next year in AY 2025-26. Remember this can change as we add new courses so check back frequently.

Attention Graduating Seniors! RSVP the Honors Graduation Celebration!
If you will be graduating from Cal Poly in 2025 you are invited to attend Honors Commencement on June 4th (5-7PM). Please use this link to RSVP. Please complete the survey even if you are unable to attend so we have accurate numbers. The RSVP deadline is Monday May 5th. Feel free to email honors@calpoly.edu with any questions or comments.
Attention First Years!! Mandatory Check In by End Spring Quarter!!
To ensure you have a plan and are making good progress toward your Honors Requirements, we are requiring all first years to meet with a Peer Advisor by the end of Spring quarter 2025. Before meeting with the Peer Advisor fill out the 4-Year Check List. You can indicate on the checklist when you plan to complete certain requirements and what you think you will do for your Track and Co-Curriculars. Bring the form with you to your check in and have the Peer Advisor sign and collect the form. First years who do not complete a check by end of Spring 25 quarter will not receive priority registration in WN26.
