Peer Advising THIS FRIDAY in the Commons, 11am to 2pm
If you have questions about your progress in Honors or want to get some help planning your schedule for Spring, there will be an Honors Peer Advisor available to help this Friday in the Commons. Stop by anytime between 11am to 2pm.
Last Chance to Apply to be an Honors Ambassador! Deadline TODAY!
Boost your resume, build your network, and give back to the Honors community! We’re seeking 2 students from each College to serve as Honors Ambassadors to represent the University Honors Program and help both current and prospective students connect with people, resources, and opportunities.
2 core responsibilities:
- Share your Cal Poly contact information on the Honors website with a photo and short blurb as a point of contact for students.
- Be available to support the Honors Program at two events per semester (flexible), including, but not limited to, Open House, registration events, event set-up/tear-down, etc.
Why apply?
- Looks great on a resume! Act as an official campus ambassador role with public-facing leadership.
- Great way to give back! Create welcoming pathways for current and future Honors students.
- Professional growth! Practice peer support and mentorship.
- Low time commitment!
- Receive 1 unit of Honors Elective for serving for the year.
Ideal candidates: Organized, energetic, proactive, comfortable speaking to groups, dependable.

Remember that if you are a 2nd year (i.e. sophomore) you must take HNRS 2261 this academic year! If you are in it right now, great. If not, plan to register for it this Spring 27.
