Do you have priority registration for Spring 2024?
Cal Poly provides Special Exception Registration Status (i.e. Priority Registration) to first- and second-year students who are members in good standing in the Honors Program. Students with Special Exception status may register first according to Cal Poly's registration appointment schedule. See module 2.12 of the Canvas Honors Handbook to learn more about the requirements to be in good standing to receive Special Exception status. If you do not meet the requirements you will not have special exception status for Spring!
First round registration for students with Special Exception starts if February 20th!
Do you still need to complete your Leadership Requirement (i.e. HNRS 261)?
FREE Emerging Leaders Series certificate is being offered Winter quarter through Cal Poly's Center for Leadership! These workshops are once a week, low stress AND can be used as an approved alternative to taking HNRS 261. Learn more at Center for Leadership - Cal Poly. No prior experience is required, and participants will receive a certificate once the series is completed.

Cal Poly Career Connections is Cal Poly’s network for students and alumni to connect with one another and share experiences and information. On Cal Poly Career Connections, you can join our Honors Network, connecting you with students that are passionate about interdisciplinary collaboration and alumni that have experience in the job field.
To join us on Cal Poly Career Connections, click on the link in the “My Apps” section of your portal. Create and perfect your profile, and, once you’re in, click on “Groups” in the “Connect” section and join the University Honors Program group! From there, you’ll have full access to a network of Honors students and alumni that are there to help you through your career journey!
