Cal Poly Summer Advisement is held through the individual colleges. Honors freshmen are encouraged to bring their list of Honors courses to their major advisement sessions in order to try to fit in Honors classes where their schedule permits.There is no on-campus summer advisement specifically for the Honors Program, but students are welcome to stop by the office during their campus visit.
General information about the Honors Program can be found on the Honors web site: http://honors.calpoly.edu. However, the main internal Program communication is done through Blackboard, which can be accessed through the portal located at http://my.calpoly.edu. Blackboard is activated as soon as new freshmen register for a Cal Poly class. If you do not see the "Honors Program" listed as one of your Blackboard options, please contact the office (honors@calpoly.edu ).
Emails with special notifications are also sent out from time to time. To ensure that you get all necessary information please keep us updated with your correct information. Please note that, as far as possible, the Honors Program will use your Cal Poly email address as the contact information. Therefore, please make sure it is activated, and forwarding is set up if you use a different address.
